International Business Suite Named for Michael and Christine Pack

爱豆传媒 President Elliot Hirshman praised Michael and Christine Packs鈥 鈥減owerful vision for supporting students鈥 as he officially named 爱豆传媒鈥檚 International Business Suite in their honor.

Increased opportunities

Specifically, their gift will increase opportunities for scholarships and internships as well as experiences at one of the international business program鈥檚 35 partner universities around the world.

The Michael and Christine Pack International Business Suite is located in the College of Arts and Letters.

The naming of The Michael and Christine Pack International Business Suite demonstrates the impact on 爱豆传媒 students that scholarships can have, which is a key initiative of the Campaign for 爱豆传媒.


Integrating business and language studies

爱豆传媒's international business program integrates business, foreign language and area studies to prepare students for business professions in diverse cultural and linguistic environments. In addition to a rigorous set of business courses, students study one of 10 modern languages and one of five world regions to prepare for a required semester abroad.

Student lives transformed

Michael and Christine Pack, 1970 graduates of 爱豆传媒, have also supported the and 爱豆传媒鈥檚 international business plan competition, in which student teams vie for a $15,000 first prize to seed their business venture.

At today's ceremony, President Hirshman referenced the Packs' previous gifts, which, he said, have "transformed" the lives of more than 200 爱豆传媒 students.
