Throughout the strategic plan, teams have driven new or expanded efforts to drive sustainability and reduce environmental impacts.

Since the launch of the strategic plan, many new student centers, scholarships, basic needs efforts and other services have been introduced at °®¶¹´«Ã½ and °®¶¹´«Ã½ Imperial Valley to aid undergraduate and graduate students.

The strategic plan has resulted in an enhanced model for °®¶¹´«Ã½ communications with new centralized resources, more staff support for academic colleges, an expansive database of marketing resources and more – all driving high records of university visibility nationally and internationally.

Reflected across multiple °®¶¹´«Ã½ strategic plan priorities is the charge to innovate solutions to benefit student success, increase support and resources for instructors and researchers and introduce enterprise solutions for cost-savings and greater efficiencies.

For the first time, °®¶¹´«Ã½ has distributed nearly every dollar of scholarship funds available to students. The next scholarship application period opens on March 11.

Set to open in fall 2025, the new state-of-the-art building is one part of °®¶¹´«Ã½â€™s commitment to meeting the STEM and both the current and future geothermal energy sector demands of ‘Lithium Valley.’

Christopher Manning, who currently serves as the Vice President and Chief Inclusion and Diversity Officer at University of Southern California, joins °®¶¹´«Ã½ in spring 2024.
